Dr. Brown is an equity trainer for Epoch Education and has conducted research looking at the high turnover rate of African American teachers in modern school systems. Dr. Newton is a CTE coordinator for Los Angeles County Office of Education and a public speaker whos research looks at the impact and legacy of African American educators prior to desegregation and their influence on cultural competency.
