New York Times: “Overlooked”

For Black History Month  this year, the New York Times published a story called OVERLOOKED “These remarkable black men and women never received obituaries in The New York Times — until now. We’re adding their stories to our project about prominent people whose deaths were not reported by the newspaper.”  Read about writers, inventors, musicians, bicyclists, artists and others who took bold steps to keep progress for racial equality at the forefront.
